For Culture and Arts Enthusiasts
Six university galleries host exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, and graphic art, featuring works by students as well as renowned artists. In addition, we have a student radio station, a choir, an orchestra, and a theatre group. You can develop your artistic talents there or simply enjoy performances that will stay in your memory for years to come.
For Out-of-Town Students
We offer nine modern and well-equipped student residence halls. The Student Campus also includes student clubs, student organization offices, sports facilities, a post office, medical clinics, a cafeteria, and small shops. The modern Auditorium hosts many outstanding events. All campus residents enjoy free Internet access.
For Those Curious About the World
Student organizations and internationally oriented associations can help you arrange internships and courses in various parts of the world. In addition, through the Erasmus+ programme, many of our students spend part of their studies (at least one semester) at partner universities abroad in countries such as France, Belgium, Greece, Germany, Sweden, Spain, and Italy.
For Sports Lovers
Athletics, basketball, horse riding, snowboarding, rock climbing, bridge, and chess are just some of the sports available through the 26 sections run by the Lodz University of Technology Academic Sports Association (AZS). Students interested in tourism can join the “PŁazik” Student Tourism Club or the “Przystań” Academic Tourism Association.
Three active student scientific societies operate at the Faculty: the Chemistry Students’ Society Trotyl, the Nanotechnology Students’ Society NANO, and the Student Scientific Society Polimer. By participating in their activities, you can develop your passions, commitment, and desire to gain deeper knowledge in various fields of chemistry. You will also have opportunities to carry out your own projects and organize scientific conferences, student events, and social gatherings.
