Financial support for students and doctoral students who meet the low-income criterion is provided through:
- need-based scholarships,
- one-time financial aid grants,
- an increased need-based scholarship for students residing in a Student Residence Hall or other accommodation facility.
A disability scholarship is also available for students with disabilities, depending on the degree of disability.

At the Faculty level:
- reviewing applications for reduced fees related to repeating courses.
At the Faculty Committee for Student Financial Aid and the Faculty Committee for Doctoral Student Financial Aid:
- receiving scholarship applications (basic scholarships, quality-based scholarships, Rector’s scholarships, need-based scholarships) and applications for an increased scholarship due to residence in a Student Residence Hall,
- reviewing appeals submitted to the Scholarship Appeals Committee,
- providing original decisions concerning the award of a need-based scholarship, financial aid grant, or disability scholarship.

- handling appeals,
are the responsibility of the Student Affairs Office and the Benefits Services Section, located at Żeromskiego 116 Street, Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design building, Staircase E (entrance from Radwańska Street), 4th floor.
