The Faculty of Chemical Technology offers over 140 laboratories for the scientific and/or commercial research. The KTU Student Town's infrastructure is purpose-built for life & work convenience, and it's located in the green part of the city centre. Also, the faculty's inner culture is informal, family-like communication, but the professional requirements are very high.

Practice in Material chemistry group: Our laboratory specializes in the design and synthesis of organic electroactive materials, bridging the gap between molecular chemistry and materials science. During this traineeship, Materials/ Chemistry Science or Engineering students would gain hands-on experience in advanced synthetic techniques and the rigorous identification of electrochemical, thermal, and photophysical properties of the materials using most advanced techniques. This role offers a unique opportunity to master both the benchwork of organic synthesis and the analytical characterization of next-generation functional materials. (dr. Rasa Keruckiene, Santaka valley, A539, A540, A543 laboratories)
Practice in Material chemistry group: Design, Synthesis, and Properties of Electroactive Compounds (dr. Raminta Beresnevičiūtė, A209 laboratory)
Practice in Material chemistry group: Synthesis and characterization of organic compounds. (dr. Gintare Krucaite, A-210 laboratory)
Practice in Polymer research group: Modification, Research and Applications of Biopolymers. (dr. Joana Bendoraitiene, A203 laboratory)
