We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoc to join our team for 2 years (an extension is possible) in Germany at Leibniz University Hannover.
Earliest in June 2024
The candidate will be involved in the following activities:
• Design and conduct in vitro digestion assays to simulate gastrointestinal conditions
• Analyze and interpret experimental results regarding protein analysis in plants and digested samplesP via HPLC, LC-MS
• Characterization of the technofunctional properties of proteins
• Treatment of plant-based food by cold plasma
• Collaboration with the food industry
• Writing publications and projects
Qualifications
• Doctoral degree in Food Technology, Food Chemsitry, Life Sciences, Food Science or equivalent
• Experience with relevant analytical techniques, such as HPLC and mass spectrometry, FTIR
• Proven expertise in conducting in vitro digestion studies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data interpretation and troubleshooting
• Excellent written skills
• Excellent verbal and written command of English is essential
